Oasis Architecture was called in to assist the owners in converting their mid- century split level located on a wooded terminal moraine into a rambling cottage with rugged stone exteriors.

For the grand yet refined great room addition, we specified a rough cut pine planked ceiling with exposed fir beams, and a soaring fieldstone fireplace with massive timber mantle.

For the front entry to the house,we designed a low-slung stone vestibule, which seductively twists and ascends as it connects the motor court to the reception areas.
