Located on a tranquil lakefront site, the owners of this former fishing cabin sought a design that maximized their soothing water views while offering space for relaxation and entertaining.

Oasis Architecture developed a scheme for a contiguous pavilion-like structure containing a master suite over a home office and carport, linked to the original cabin with a gradually ascending stair hall opening to an expansive deck.

In measured contrast to the ebullient and extroverted nature of the lakefront elevations, the overall design offers a low-key, deeply-eaved, almost mysterious presence toward the street.
